Hypocrisy watch: Rove accuses Obama of playing politics
April 3, 2009
David Shuster, hypocrisy of Karl Rove, President Obama, misusing, power of his office, team Obama, adversaries, White House, news
MSNBCs David Shuster points out the hypocrisy of Karl Roves latest Wall Street Journal column. Rove suggested that President Obama was misusing the power of his office. Team Obama wants to remind its adversaries it has plenty of power, and it does. The question is whether the White House will wield it responsibly, wrote Rove.
Shuster accused Rove of having a double standard. Karl Rove is concerned about wielding power irresponsibly? Karl, you mean like outing a CIA agent? asked Shuster. Karl Rove participated in outing Valerie Plame after her husband wrote about how the Bush administration mislead the country into the Iraq war.
