This wiki is a project of the fall 2009 and spring 2010 sections of Linguistics 21 at San Jose State University and of the spring section of the spring 2010 section of Humanities and Communication 213 at California State University, Monterey Bay. Anyone is welcome to help make it better. The links below lead to illustrations and discussion of different logical fallacies. The first illustration for each is an internet ad from the 2008 Proposition 8 debate in California.
